Obtained his BSc, MSc and PhD degrees from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. After Jozef Stefan Institute he joined the Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport in 1997. His research interests are related to the needs of contemporary maritime and coastal intelligent transport systems. In addition to work with students at the faculty he was involved in cooperation with archaeologists concerning precise positioning of geophysical instruments by integrated navigation sensors, and in the fields of maritime awareness and hardening of the GNSS receivers.
