Holds a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Campinas-Unicamp (2003), degree in Biological Sciences at Unicamp (2006), specializing in environmental management from Unicamp (2006), Master of Functional and Molecular Biology (biochemistry, subarea Education) (2006) and PhD in Science (2010), both at Unicamp. He has experience in General Biology, with emphasis on training teachers for using IT in teaching, acting on the following topics: educational software, distance education, teacher formation. Currently, he work as a professor of biochemistry at the Federal University of Alfenas (Unifal-MG), which also acts as a coordinator at the Center for Open and Distance Education - CEAD.
