I spent 25 years in the ticketing, events and entertainment industry, with the past 10 years concentrating on developing technologies to improve event management processes. After struggling a little with the lack of ethics within parts of the industry (chronic here in Adelaide), I stepped back and re-assessed what was really important - and where I thought I could make a difference that mattered. I realized that very few people actually need a ticketing and event management system - but everyone needs secure access to safe food and water.
