I consider myself to be an innovative and reflective collaborator of teaching and learning and strive to motivate and engage my students with carefully considered learning activities. Forefront in my planning is to attempt to allow engagement with concepts in such a way that students can transfer their understanding across multiple disciplines and in other aspects of their lives. I believe that students must acquire the skills that allow independence of learning and set them on the path to be self-regulated lifelong learners.
