BACKGROUND:
Dr. Carri Schneider started her career as a first-generation college student and public school teacher. After five years teaching elementary school, she left the classroom to first pursue her Masters degree in Educational Administration and later her Doctoral degree in Urban Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. Her research, dissertation, and publications stem from a strong belief in the connection between education and social justice.
