About
Dr. Casale is mainly involved in research and teaching activities in the following fields:
- Solar Radiation to measure atmospheric ozone, nitrogen dioxide and UV irradiance at surface by means of ground-based and satellite radiometers;
- Atmospheric Physics and Biometeorology for the determination of solar UV biologically effective irradiance and the study of its effects on humans through biophysical markers;
- Climatology for the analysis and interpretation of climatic system fluctuations;
- Applied Meteorology at the mesoscale and urban scale and Hydrology for the study of regional rivers and basins;
- Cultural Heritage with special emphasis on indoor meteorological conditions.
