My goal is to find great companies to invest in and achieve 15%+ returns on the capital I manage.
I do this using a "business owner" perspective when valuing businesses. That means that I don't rely simply on quantitative metrics, but also evaluate the given company's business model, its industry prospects and the competition dynamics.
I always using a "margin of safety" approach on my valuations, as my objectives are capital preservation first and return on capital second.
