Please someone catch me,
I’m dancing with the midnight stars.
I can taste the sparks on my tongue
The blackness palpable
As I sink my teeth
Into its inky film.
Oh please someone catch me,
My legs are growing thin,
I’m sinking into the cracks in the floor boards
And folding like an accordion.
I’m paper thin, running dry
My body crumbling beneath
The weight of the jet black sky, there’s
Crimson running down the
Valleys of my scars, and I’m falling quickly
Into the midnight stars.
