Habib is working on his PhD thesis at Department of Computer Systems and Technology, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is working on big data mining systems for Internet of Things. His research covers a wide spectrum of application areas including smart cities, mobile social networks, Quantified self, mHealth and wearable assistive technologies among many others. The key research areas of his interest are: mobile computing, edge-cloud computing, Internet of Things, data mining, machine learning, and mobile distributed analytics.
