In the 1980’s in a small South African town, there was a women with a vision. She looked at the little sparrow and saw a message in its existence. She then took this message and made it real and tangible, sent it to the soldiers - the paratroopers - and asked kids in the community to become involved. They helped her to write letter to these soldiers every day and encourage them to be courageous. The reality of her message was nestled in a Bible phrase which reads ‘…are not two sparrows sold for a penny?
