Born and raised in New Orleans (Lower 9th Ward). Attended Valena C. Jones Elementary School (Jaguars), Francis W. Gregory Junior High School (Gators), and John F. Kennedy Senior High School (Cougars c/o 93). Attended University of New Orleans for a stint before joining the United States Navy 12/1993 - 12/1996. I primarily lived in Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia. I ended my military career in 1996. I eventually received a BS in Management and an MBA. I currently reside in Jacksonville, FL where I am now raising two sons (Roshad and Cameron) with my husband, Robert.
