Began my career in telecom as a cable technician at Dhiraagu, a joint venture of C&W International and Government of Maldives, in 1991. Trained at the C&W training facility in Coventry, UK and became a fully fledged telecommunications engineer specializing in microwave radio network design and management. Worked in commercial interconnection and technical interconnection disciplines in Dhiraagu finalizing the Reference Interconnect Offer when Maldives market was opened for competition.
