Dr. Lekkos is the Group Chief Economist with Piraeus Bank, one of the largest banks in Greece. He is also a member of the Board of European Reliance Asset Management, the Council of Economic Advisors of the Hellenic Bank Association and the Foundation of Economic and Industrial Research. As Chief Economist with Piraeus Bank, he leads the division which reports on developments in the Greek and global economy with an emphasis on the countries of South East Europe. He also monitors the Greek economy and its banking system as well as the G7 economies with a particular focus on developments in fixed income and foreign exchange markets.
