I was a candidate for the US Senate in 2008 (D-NC), have worked as an investment banker, CEO of three start-up IT and health care companies, advisor to a multitude of venture/PE-funded small businesses in the healthcare and IT spaces, and board member and/or volunteer at non profit organizations.
Currently advise institutions regarding the valuation of certain investment portfolio assets, private placement and restructuring transactions and specific public and foreign policy matters. Social activist for mental health awareness & the advancement of socio/economic and educational skills of those living on the fringes of society.
