Dr Jakeline Trejos Jimenez was born in Colombia, and at the age of 20 years won the international competition for scholarships awarded by the government of the Slovak Republic, for her excellent grades in her studies, in the year 2001 she began studying the Slovak language and subsequently continued her career at the Slovak University of Technology in the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology Bratislava, in which she spent 9 years of preparation for her Bachelor and Masters studies until her title of PhD in the year 2011.
