James Schmitt specializes in developing and implementing multi-stakeholder programing in complex environments. His previous field assignments include Afghanistan, Berlin, the Balkans, East Asia, Iraq, Jordan, Norway, and Post-Katrina New Orleans, as well as several other project assignments in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. Mr. Schmitt’s previous roles include executive positions within international security, international development, and management consulting firms. Earlier in his career, he was a military officer whose service assignments ranged from infantry battalions to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the Pentagon.
