I use my linkedin and facebook connections to keep up with friends and contacts as they change jobs, to ask questions and get opinions to assist me in my professional life and businesses but most recently to market my business and professional services and improve the rankings of the websites my businesses relies on. I am very interested in web2.0 marketing and how it works; I think it is not about advertising but referrals. The powerful thing is the referrals are on a one to many basis rather the one to one. I have only dipped my toe in the water with this but I am learning so much!
