Dr. Jillian D. Round is Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication at The University of Texas at Dallas. She works as a research associate in the Public Interactives Research Lab and is a practicing new media artist, having shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout Texas and the Southwest.  Her research focuses on minority presence in media, digital documentation, and art and politics. She earned both a Ph.D. in Aesthetic Studies from the School of Arts and Humanities at The University of Texas at Dallas, and an M.F.A. in Arts and Technology.
