Originally from the UK now living in rural Western Australia. I have a background in science, equine studies and in transferrable/employability skills. This experience has been invaluable for my substantive position (since 2007) as an LLN/Foundation Skills lecturer at CY O’Connor Institute – a regional Public VET provider in rural Western Australia. I use technology as a major part of my toolkit for teaching adult literacy/numeracy both face-to-face and online.
