At present I work as a consultant vascular and transplant surgeon at a teaching hospital in the northern part of the country. This is the only vascular and transplant unit in this part of the country. The hospital which I am working covers the needs of the north central, northern, eastern and half of the north western provinces of the country. Here we offer all range of vascular surgery and Transplantation (including kidney pancreas and liver. the first simultaneous Pancreas Kidney Transplantation in 2016, first enbloc dual kidney transplantation in 2016 and the first limb transplantation in 2017 inSri Lanka was done in this unit and was performed by me and the team).
