My adventure begins after graduating from UVA in 2009. I jumped on a plane out of the states to volunteer on organic farms throughout Italy. In addition to learning about the glories of the Italian Healthcare system via some stitches in my foot, I became conversational in Italian, learned to distill essential oils, and participate in a culture as lively as their hand gestures. Returning to the states, five days later I hopped in a U-Haul and moved to Austin, Texas. Fulfilling my dreams of playing music in the live music capital of the world, I simultaneously discovered my entrepreneurial spirit working through an internet start-up and rebuilding the business structure of a local gym....
