Based on my past experience with two major retailers and on-going research I teach retailing at undergraduate, postgraduate and post-experience levels.
Since joining MBS in January 2011 I have been providing comment on retailing issues for BBC TV, ITV, Sky News, BBC Radios 4 and 5, national newspapers and trade magazines.
I have taught retailer-sponsored students on bespoke courses including managers from Sainsbury, Tesco, B&Q and Allied Domecq. From 2009 I have been teaching on the UK's first Masters level programme in Internet Retailing, leading the unit in Product & Service Development.
Specialities: Retail failure, retail lobbying, planning policy
