I develop web sites and applications, specializing in PHP/MySQL content management systems. I like the idea of writing my own CMS based on Zend Framework or CodeIgniter but Drupal and WordPress are so well done and well supported that it would be impractical to start a CMS from scratch. I like writing PHP code in the PHP Storm IDE on a Mac.
I also like writing in C# .NET: a great language and great platform. I have only barely experimented with open source .NET CMS's (DotNetNuke and Umbraco). A couple years ago wrote a specialized user forum in C# .NET that was a lot of fun and has been well received by the client.
