Jonas Hagen is an urban planning and transportation specialist, with project experience in New York City, Bogotá, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro, among other cities. He has advised city, state and national government bodies, civil sector and private organizations on policy, delivered technical assistance, organized and taught training courses, made presentations at events, and overseen the production of influential reference documents. Trained as a journalist, Jonas has contributed to magazines, newspapers and websites, and spoken to the press on sustainable urban transport and planning issues. Jonas is currently a consultant and a PhD candidate in Urban Planning at Columbia University.
