As NerdWallet’s first IT hire, I organized, and improved our internal IT organization and services in a critical time where the company was transitioning from a startup company to a more organized, mid-sized tech company. My day-to-day responsibilities include being the sysadmin for our internal IT services, providing IT support, and deploying new IT services including an IT ticketing system (i.e. Zendesk), backup system for cloud applications (i.e. Backupify), etc.
