I am interested in the effects of exercise and nutrition on aging and cancer. In particular, I am interested in how macrophages and other stromal cells in the tumor-microenvironment promote tumorigenesis and metastasis, and how exercise modulates their behavior. In addition, I am interested in the role of exercise in modulating inflammation in the context of obesity and cancer.
