Dr. Castro-Osma was born in Toledo (Spain) in 1984. He received his BSc in 2007 (2007) and PhD (Cum Laude, 2013) in Homogeneous Catalysis from the University of Castilla-La Mancha working in the group of Prof. A. Otero on the synthesis of homogeneous catalysts for the production of biodegradable polymers and cyclic carbonates. He was awarded the Extraordinary Doctorate Award at University of Castilla-La Mancha to the best Thesis in Science in 2013. In his PhD period, he spent two short internships at the Complutense University of Madrid (Prof. M. A. Sierra) and the University of Newcastle (Prof. M. North).
