Freelance Audio Engineer

A New York City-based audio engineer, Jovany Gertler took his first piano lessons at the age of five. After extensive piano training, during which he received the National Piano Guild Award six times, he eventually switched his focus to digital music. He pursued a certificate of mastery in recording at Arizona’s Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. During this ten-month program, Jovany Gertler developed a comprehensive understanding of the art of audio, including the science of hearing, microphone electronics, and analog and digital recording, and received Pro Tools certification. The program also gave him the opportunity to run live sound sessions during shows.
