I can't believe how far I've come! In May of 2001, I had gastric bypass surgery, and since then, I've changed my whole life around; I've been given a second chance, a chance to live life to the fullest! I've made a lot of mistakes in life, but from each of them, there came a lesson... a lesson that has helped me to become, stronger, wiser, and better than I was the day before. I honor my hardships because it has allowed me to be the person I am today.
