I am passionate about empowering women. I love to work with pregnant and postartum women (especially single women and teens). I believe in the power of encouragement, support, and education. I am a home birth supporter, but I also believe there is a time and place for everything, hospitals, epidurals, and yes, surgery. We are very fortunate in the tri-state because our hospitals are very supportive of women who are educated about their health care and encourage us to make our own decisions. I believe in the studies that have determined women are the decision makers when it comes to health care decisions. Women have the power to choose what health care providers their family will
