My activities are twofold:
1° A Blog 'Iconography in Art History' http://kbender.blogspot.be/ with the aim to discuss:
a) Thematic Research Collections and Topical Catalogues, quantitative approaches and 'Distant Viewing'
b) 'ut pictura poesis' (poetry resembles painting and vice-versa) or inter-art analogies and differences between literature (poetry, theatre, prose) and visual arts and other 'sister' arts ( music, dance, etc) with special attention to the theme of Aphrodite/Venus.
