PERSONAL STATEMENT I am seeking a full time position working in a dynamic research laboratory. I have spent the past 11 years as a teaching faculty member in the Biology Department at Randolph College, a small private liberal arts school in Lynchburg, Virginia. The move from a teaching to research laboratory management position will allow me to utilize my strengths in hands on instruction in the laboratory as well as the coordination of protocols and efficient management of resources. I am passionate about research and discovery at the bench and am interested in returning to it in the role of research associate or laboratory manager.
