Senior Lecturer in British History. I served as Acting Head of History from February to August 2014. I am also School of Humanities Research Students' Tutor, and Director of the Centre for Regional and Local History. www.herts.ac.uk/regional-history/ I am one of the two 2015 winners of the British Library Labs competition, and have spent summer 2015 embedded in the Digital Scholarship department developing a digital resource, 'Political Meetings Mapper' using the library's digitised collections.
