My responsibilities include helping to establish long- and short-term goals for several NCBI resources. I also establish curation guidelines and productivity goals for the curation staff that I supervise. I work on several projects at NCBI including the chordate RefSeq project, the CCDS project, genome annotation including outreach and coordination with model organism database groups, and serve on steering committees for several other NCBI resources.
