Was Chairman of ACSAC, Committee set up by the Nandan Nilekani-led Unique Identification Authority of India, to define and create the brand in 2010. Was involved in the formulation of the communication strategy, the brand name and logo brief and finalization of the same. Re-inducted in the Advisory Committee to Aadhaar in 2012.
