My areas of specialty training are hematology, oncology, clinical pharmacology, clinical genetics, and laboratory medicine. I have 21 years'​ clinical experience in the hematology / oncology field at the University of Tokyo and Toranomon Hospital, and 16 years' experience in phase-I clinical trials at the Kitasato Institute Hospital. In collaboration with the Japan Pharmaceutical Information Center (JAPIC), I am involved in pharmacovigilance research using the JAPIC Adverse Event Reporting System (JAERS) database.
