Dr Kumaravel, born and educated in the green city of Bangalore, had his schooling at the St Joseph’s Indian High School and St Joseph’s College Bangalore. He went on to complete his undergraduate (MBBS) and post graduate (M.S. General Surgery) medical education at the prestigious St John’s Medical College and National Academy of Medical Sciences, Bangalore.
