Dr. Kyriakos A. Kassis was born in 1970. He received a Dipl. Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (1992, five year courses) and his Ph.D in Engineering from the same institution in 2003. From 1992 until 1996 he worked as a Research Assistant with a fellowship from Institute of Communications and Computer Systems (ICCS/NTUA), where he also participated in R&D projects funded by European Union and Greek organisations (GSRT).
