This is the box where I write something about myself. I enjoy hanging out with people with whom I can talk about real things. The older I get, the more I detest small talk. Parties generally bore me and make me feel uncomfortable unless there's some stimulating conversation. I don't like answering the phone because it usually rings when I'm doing something. Things that annoy me: religious extremism of all stripes, creationism (including intelligent design), astrology, opposition to same-sex marriage, and the phrase "Everything happens for a reason."
