Adelani Stephens (aka Lani Stephens) is a musician, teacher, composer, and consultant in creative and performing arts based in Jos, Nigeria. Winner of the prestigious 2014 Humphrey Fellowship Award with the US Department of State and Professional Affiliate/ Culture Specialist at the UNAIDS -OSA New York City 2015.
Beginning his career in the early 1980s in choirs and bands, he later taught music in schools, conferences, and workshops. His accomplishments include drafting a music curriculum for Nigeria in 2006 and establishing the first government-approved music institute in 2007.
