Larissa Figueiredo is a filmmaker, a cultural producer and a professor. She studied Literature at the UnB, Film Theory at the Université Lumière Lyon 2 in France, and Visual Arts/Cinema Haute École d’Art et design de Genève, in Switzerland, where she took classes with artists such as Miguel Gomes, Albert Serra and Apichatpong Weerasethakul. The Bull, her first feature documentary film, had its world premiere at the 44th Rotterdam Film Festival and was screened in more than 30 national and international events.
