Though my basic education was in Environmental Sciences, I realised very soon that there was little that one could do in India in addressing its environmental and social justice concerns from this perspective alone. I worked for several years with different sectors including with urban street children, and on various issues of urban governance. Only to realise soon that my calling was in environmental law and policy intiatives.
