Attended LACC, 1960-61, UCLA 1961-64 but did not graduate then.
Lived in San Francisco, 1964-66, New York City, 1967-79, Virginia, Minnesota, 1979-82, returning to Los Angeles that July.
Returned to UCLA in 1983, completed BA in History, attended graduate school in Sociology, 1983-86, completed MA and classwork for PhD.
Retired as website and publications manager for the UCLA International Institute in 2005. Involved in various community organizations in the West Adams area of Los Angeles, near USC.
