I am currently investigating correlates of immune protection from malaria in Ugandan volunteers. My research incorporates multi-parameter flow cytometry, cell sorting and array technologies, molecular and cell biology techniques, and the statistical analysis of large clinical data sets. Additionally, my work involves travel to East Africa, and the management and training of research technicians both in San Francisco and in Uganda.
