I am currently an instructor of World History at Gulliver Preparatory Academy in Miami, FL. I recently graduated from Florida International University with a Doctorate in History. My research focuses on twentieth-century religious and cultural history. My dissertation research explores the development of transnational Pentecostal print culture in the United States and South Africa from the 1900s-1940s. It investigates the role of transnational print networks in the development of Pentecostal identities, and presents a cultural history of the main periodical of the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa, "The Comforter and Messenger of Hope."
