My career spans five decades in journalism, technical writing, public relations and social communication. In 1999, a year after Google incorporated, I accurately predicted the effect Google would have on external communications, and the timing of the collapse of traditional media. In 2003 I began developing a methodology on market conversations and strategic content development a year before Facebook received its initial funding and two years before the founding of Twitter.
