Luca Antonio Dimuccio was born in 1971 (Putignano - Italy). He finished his 5 years degree in geology in 1998 at the University of Bari (Italy) with a final thesis on karst and palaeokarst geology/geomorphology of the Cantanhede Plateau (western-central Portugal). In those years, he also worked in the fields of sedimentology and geomorphology, laboratory mineralogy and hydrogeology, in Southern Italy and Portugal. Luca A. Dimuccio spent one year of scholarship (1995) at the Coimbra University (Portugal). In 2001 Luca A.
