Under the National Telehealth Service Program (NTSP) of the Philippine Department of Health (DOH) and the University of the Philippines Manila (UP Manila) through the National Telehealth Center (NTHC), I work closely with Municipal Health Officers, Rural Health Physicians and Doctors-to-the-Barrio in facilitating teleconsultation through SMS and/or email. The telemedicine project of NTHC and DOH seeks to address geographical barriers that impedes prompt delivery of healthcare services through the use of Informations and Communications Technology platforms.
