Distributed Systems are my main research interest: I have worked on P2P systems, cloud systems (scalability and security aspects), grid systems and distributed databases. Today, I am focusing on new languages and platforms such as Scala, Akka and Spark. Maybe I should remark I have done 'applied' research. I have always tried to test my ideas by building prototypes that proof the viability of my proposals. The fact is I love learning, testing, conceiving and developing new technologies, specially those related with distributed systems.
