Never before we interacted on such a large scale with people from totally different origins and cultures. Yet we share a subtle sense of human dignity, and a need to solve the many problems that come with worldwide interdependency. To enjoy a multipolar world, my learning ambitions are: 1) to learn about the history, languages, culture and real life issues of emerging countries 2) to be aware of own cultural lenses; to listen to build common ground 3) to join the larger 'intercultural dialogue' where matters of faith, ethics, social responsibility, and citizenship are concerned.
